Camera Service Department

Technicians and engineers, who began their careers with such companies as Siemens, Arriflex, Moviecam, staff our camera service department. Many of these technicians are responsible only for specific tasks. For example, one technician services only heads, another only lenses, and others are solely responsible for electronic equipment and components. This delegation of responsibility allows all equipment to be thoroughly checked, and helps maintain a high degree of technical acumen in the technicians responsible for the task.

Aside from investing in highly trained personnel, ARRI CSC has also invested in expensive pieces of equipment that allow our technicians to perform diagnostic tests and repairs that would otherwise have to be performed by distant manufacturers. The camera shop is outfitted with a plethora of expensive optical and electronics equipment, and is supported by a machine shop located on the premises.
