The clips on this page are available in several resolutions and two codecs: H.264 and Apple ProRes. To illustrate the stunning image quality of Apple ProRes we offer two of the clips, "Austria" and "FreeRunner", in Apple ProRes 422(HQ). Because of the file size of the high resolution clips (1920 x 1080 pixel) and to ensure a smooth playback we recommend to download them entirely to your computer before playback.

Tom Faehrmann takes ALEXA out again, this time to the set of a still photography fashion shoot by cinematographer and photographer Oliver Maier.
"I was very curious how ALEXA would handle skin tones. In the past I have not been very happy with the way that digital cameras reproduce skin tones; it has always looked like the skin had been sanded down and then mutated into a corcelain surface - a far cry from the way real human skin looks."
