The WEISSCAM HS-2 is the newest, uncompressed digital Highspeed Camera for framerates up to 4.000fps. It is developed as a stand-alone camera aiming especially at the needs of cinematographers.

The DM-2 Digital Mag, a 2 TB hard disc recorder with RAID 6 protection for ultimate data safety, records HD in 4:2:2 and 4:4:4, and various raw data formats, among others ARRIRAW.

This compact touchscreen device allows to control all essential camera fuctions remotely via cable or wireless.

The Weisscam's HS-2 built-in 32 GB of memory and the optional 2 TB Digital Mag DM-2 offer highly flexible workflow options. The simultaneous output of two streams via HD SDI allows for shooting in either HD or RAW or both at the same time.

With two image formats (4:3 + 16:9) and cinema-style images the Weisscam footage can be seemlessly intercut with a wide range of footage of various origin.

Several mounting points on the camera make it easy to connect additional accessories like onboard monitor, lens control system.

An intelligent power management system effectively prevents loss of footage and allows for a battery change on the fly.

The boot-up time of less than 7 seconds gets the camera ready to shoot almost immediately.
