    Regional Sales Executive - Northeast

    Summary

    ARRI Rental New York the premier rental house for professional motion picture Camera and Lighting equipment is looking for a Regional Sales Executive to work in our Secaucus, NJ office.

    The Regional Sales Executive is responsible for developing the Northeast US market, negotiating deals and coordinating client requests. This person works to improve ARRI Rental’s market position and financial growth by building new client relationships while maintaining the existing client base. Using knowledge of the market and competitors, the Regional Sales Executive must identify, develop and leverage ARRI Rental’s unique services and product offerings. This role requires consistent interaction with national and international ARRI Rental colleagues and in doing so, helps create an effective group marketing network and data base.

    We seek a creative, self-motivated individual with 5+ years of experience in the film equipment rental industry, strong Sales and Marketing skill sets and superior business acumen. A Bachelor degree in Film/TV production or related field is preferred.

    Shipping/Receiving Coordinator

    Summary

    ARRI Rental, the premier rental house for professional motion picture Camera and Lighting equipment, is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to work in our New Jersey office.

    The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the preparation of domestic and international shipments, the receipt of equipment returning from jobs, branches and vendors and the receipt and processing of new equipment. Shipments must be accurately labeled and packaged and meet all IATA regulations. Also responsible for notifying productions of missing or damaged equipment and preparing the appropriate paperwork for billing.

    We seek a highly-organized, self-starter with a minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar position. Must be familiar with UPS and FedEx software as well as their internal practices and procedures. Experience in international shipping, including the understanding of global customs tariff classifications is necessary. Experience in inventory control a plus. High-school diploma or equivalent required.

    Main areas of responsibilities for this full time role include:

  • Responsible for processing all domestic, international and hazardous material shipments. Track all historical shipment information.
  • Perform shipment processing including counting, packaging, weighing and labeling of materials.
  • Prepare necessary shipping documents including packing slips, delivery receipts and commercial invoices.
  • Utilize online shipping software by carriers such as FedEx, UPS and local freight forwarders.
  • Process equipment returns by scanning equipment from jobs, branch transfers and vendors. Ensure all equipment is accounted for.
  • Create M&D reports and notify customers and ARRI Rental staff of missing and damaged equipment. Prepare paperwork for billing.
  • Receive and inspect sub-rented equipment and ensure timely return to vendor.
  • Receive, inspect and process new equipment received.
  • Ensure cases are clean and proper ARRI Rental stickers are on cases.
  • Provide shipping quotes as needed and review invoices for accurate billing.
  • Assist with the training of Shipping/Receiving personnel.

    The Camera and Lens Service Technician, is a full time position responsible for servicing and maintaining of digital and analog cameras, lenses and support equipment. This person will work with ARRI Rental service departments worldwide to ensure our rental inventory is prepared and adjusted to meet our client’s needs.

    This position involves technical servicing of professional digital motion picture cameras, lenses and accessories, to include the latest in technology: Alexa 65, Alexa Plus SXT, Alexa Mini, Amira, Phantom Flex 4K and other cameras from Sony and Canon. Knowledge of spherical lenses required and anamorphic lens knowledge a plus. Experience with the maintenance of 16mm & 35mm film cameras a plus.

    Main areas of responsibilities for this full time role include:

  • Service, maintenance and repair of digital & analog camera equipment, verifying its operational performance and set-up.
  • Service, maintenance and repair of spherical & anamorphic prime and zoom lenses, verifying its operational performance and set up.
  • Service maintenance and repair of our accessory equipment, such as, monitors, batteries and support equipment.

    Delivery Driver/Warehouse Staff (CDL-Class A)

    Summary

    Illumination Dynamics, Inc. (ID) an ARRI Rental Company, is a leading supplier of Lighting, Grip, Trucks and Generators to the Motion Picture, Television and Commercial Industries as well as Automated Lighting to the Television and Corporate Events and Portable Redundant Power to Live Sports Broadcast and Special Events. ID is looking for a CDL Class A Delivery Driver/Warehouse Staff Person, to work in our San Fernando, CA office.

    The Delivery Driver/Warehouse Staff member carries out the day-to-day activities of making deliveries/pick-ups as required and working in the warehouse, with the Shop Foreman and Rental Agents to fulfill customer orders.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily duties include but are not limited to making deliveries/pick-ups as needed.
  • Position requires a CDL Class A license with tractor trailer experience operating a manual transmission tractor with up to a 53’ trailer in city traffic, as well as occasional interstate hauls.
  • Completing all required paperwork to include: Log Books, Individual Mileage Reports, and all other paperwork as it applies to CDL driving and company requirements.
  • Pulling orders; testing equipment; cleaning equipment and trucks before it goes out and on its return; load and unload trucks; clean warehouse.
  • Filling out appropriate intercompany paperwork where applicable including Pull Lists, Return Lists, M&D’s, partial returns, short lists, etc.
  • Following Company policies and procedures.
  • Assist other personnel when necessary both as directed or daily in the shop or other departments.
  • Responsible for representing the company in a professional manner at all times
  • Flexible with work hours and available to work overtime which may include early morning, late evening or weekend deliveries as business needs require.

  • Must maintain a valid CDL Driver’s License with clean MVR.

    The Marketing Coordinator, is primarily responsible for coordinating the marketing requirements for ARRI Rental North America working in conjunction with the Marketing Manager to ensure optimum marketing communication in all formats as well as an effective representation on production locations and at industry events.     Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the introduction of new equipment and or services to the Liaise with the ARRI Rental Marketing Manager & ARRI Rental Group marketing departments

    The Prep Technician is responsible for providing a positive client experience by offering first-class customer service and technical support. The Prep Tech must ensure equipment is ready, complete and up to QC standards for client preps. This position is responsible for pulling and prepping equipment to be used on jobs and demos, assisting with the customer prep process, scanning equipment for jobs and branch transfers, shipping and receiving of equipment and processing missing and damages. Must be able to cover duties in other departments as needed.

    We seek a positive, client-centric self-starter with a minimum 2 years’ prep experience in the field of camera rental. Solid knowledge of the Digital and Motion Picture Industry required. Knowledge of Digital, 35mm and 16mm motion picture cameras, lenses and accessories necessary. Knowledge of ARRI digital camera, digital cinematography and lighting products preferred. Fluent in the use of motion picture camera equipment and related accessories

    Main areas of responsibilities for this full-time role include:

  • Exceed customer expectations by offering exceptional customer service.
  • Fulfill customer orders by pulling equipment from the warehouse, arranging it on the prep floor/room and conduct pre-prep to ensure all equipment is complete and in working order.
