OB-1 Workflow

The OB-1, S.two's advanced, compact, onboard recording system, offers uncompressed HD and raw data recording in a file-based, data-centric workflow. The sturdy solid-state data magazines are hot-swappable and withstand even harsh conditions like shooting handheld, Steadicam or on car rig shoots.

The OB-1 can be easily configured to adapt to various shooting condidions and camera configurations. On tripod and dolly it can be top mounted to make the camera as compact as possible.

The OB-1 in backload ensures a low profile, brings down the camera's center of gravity and balances it nicely on the operator's shoulder.

The OB-1 records to FlashMags – S.two’s new hot-swappable solid state storage magazines. Each FlashMag offers up to 30 minutes of uncompressed data file storage. The system is specifically designed for the rugged environment of shooting film in any situation. Multiple levels of internal media redundancy ensure data safety and years of trouble free production.The OB-1 operates absolutely noiselessly and consumes very little power. Playback is possible immediately and as often as needed, without any concern about affecting the integrity of the image data.

Use with the ARRIFLEX D-21 for uncompressed ARRIRAW recording to 3K including anamorphic support or shoot up to 60P with full ramping and variable frame rate support. Recording multiple cameras, e.g for shooting 3D, is supported, as well.
